The town of Rottenburg am Neckar.

Rottenburg am Neckar rests about 12 km southwest of the district town Tübingen. The city was originally founded as a Roman town. Today about 40.000 inhabitants are living here. Rottenburg am Neckar is the seat of the Roman Catholic bishop for the diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart. Main sights are the romantic old town and the Dom St. Martin. The market square is the heart of the town. Here you should start a stroll through the Mediaeval Old Town. On your way you'll reach spacious squares, mediaeval towers and gates, Gothic churches and Baroque chapels.
A short description of the main sights: At the market square you'll find the baroque Town Hall, a beautiful gothic spire fountain close to the Cathedral Church of St. Martin and a Gothic Knight Fountain.
