Horneck Palace in Gundelsheim.
Horneck palace is surrounded by vineyards and dates back in the 13th century. The palace was built by the German Order of Knights. In the 15th century Horneck became the residence of the Grandmaster. The castle is located in the town of Gundelsheim overlooking the Neckar River.
Since 1960 the palace belongs to the Transylvanian Saxons Relief Organization. They erected a senior citizens´home in the castle, as well a museum with important Transylvanian collections.
